Street Ministry · Tulsa, Oklahoma

Reaching hearts. Changing lives. Sharing hope.

Every Saturday we bring sack lunches, clean water, supplies, prayer and a message of hope to our neighbors experiencing homelessness in Tulsa. We want every person to know they are valued by God, connected to real help, and surrounded by people who show up.

What We Do

We Are the Hands and Feet of Jesus

We serve without judgment or prerequisite, extending God’s unconditional love to everyone who crosses our path. Our ministry rests on four simple callings:

Physical

Nutritious sack lunches and bottled water every week, plus blankets, clothing, shoes, socks, hygiene items and pet food as donations allow.

Spiritual

Prayer, Christian fellowship and a message of hope: encouragement, salvation and prayer for healing. Sermons, music and live speakers on our PA system.

Connection

A resource list we personally keep current, so the phone numbers work and the services are still open. Pathways to shelter, food, healthcare and jobs.

Relationship

Showing up the same place, every week. Consistent, respectful presence builds trust and shows lasting commitment.

What a Saturday Looks Like

In front of the Tulsa Day Center

Every Saturday at 10 am when the weather allows, our team sets up at the Tulsa Day Center, 415 W Archer St. Whenever we can, we also take lunches directly to people panhandling on corners across the city.

  1. We load the truck with lunches, water and donated supplies, and start serving at 10:00 am.
  2. Music, sermons and live speakers play over our PA system.
  3. Guests receive a lunch and water, while supplies last, and our current resource list.
  4. We offer to pray with anyone who wants it and share a message of hope.

If it’s raining or snowing on Saturday morning, we don’t go out that week.

Be the community that shows up

Our vision includes mobilizing the Christian community to take part in street-level ministry. You don’t need experience, only a willing heart. Families serve with us too.

  • Sort and serve donated clothing and supplies
  • Pray with our neighbors and share encouragement
  • Help pack lunches, run a supply drive, or share music or a message

Age: volunteers 13 and up are welcome. Anyone under 18 must serve with a parent or guardian.

About Us

Ambassadors of hope on the streets of Tulsa

How it started

On August 2, 2025, we officially answered the call God placed on our hearts. Ben and I were just dating at the time, but we had been praying and fasting, and we knew God wanted to use our Saturday mornings. We were willing to do outreach, whether that meant volunteering alongside someone else or stepping out to create something we felt led to do ourselves.

We both felt called to make sandwiches and pray for the homeless of Tulsa. With the supplies we had, we put together 19 lunches and water. We had no idea what it would grow into. We hadn’t even met Red yet. We just knew God had a heart for the people suffering on the streets of Tulsa, and He wanted us to show up.

One year later, we’re overwhelmed by how far this journey has come, and grateful for every volunteer who holds the pieces together and helps us reach one more.

Our mission

Ambassadors Outreach Street Ministry exists to demonstrate Christ’s love through compassionate service to people experiencing homelessness, providing for immediate physical needs, front-line spiritual warfare, spiritual encouragement, and pathways to long-term stability through direct street outreach in the Tulsa community.

We believe every person experiencing homelessness deserves dignity, respect and practical support. Through consistent presence, we build relationships that restore hope and show that every person has inherent worth and potential for transformation.

Our vision

To see every person experiencing homelessness in Tulsa know they are valued by God and connected to resources that can transform their circumstances, while mobilizing the Christian community to take part in street-level ministry. As funding and volunteers grow, we want to reach more neighbors across the city, including those panhandling on our street corners.
